ABOUT YOUR DOULA

My name is Paige Cooper and I am located in central New Jersey. I am a birth and postpartum doula trained and certified through the National Black Doulas Association. I attended Rowan University where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a pre-med concentration. When I am not helping birth persons, I love to attend concerts, spend time with family and give back to my community. I also have started a foundation and I donate items such as toys, clothing, necessities to children and women in shelters affected by domestic violence. I have a strong passion for helping people. My love for birth work started at a young age through babysitting for family and family-friends. This passion heightened at the age of 13 when my mother was pregnant with my brother. I got to witness her journey front row and be with her every step of the way. This experience gave a whole new meaning to the process of birth and life to me. It is in my nature to help and nurture those around me, so help me help you! I want to be able to advocate for and encourage ALL birth persons from ALL backgrounds to find their voice and advocate for themselves as well.

MY GOAL

One of the most beautiful moments in life is bringing a new life into the world. As your doula I am committed to providing all birthing persons with that peace. My goal is to make sure every family feels secure and guided through this journey. I am prepared to be your advocate and provide you with evidence based information as we go on this journey together and lay down the perfect foundation for you and your family. Every birth person deserves a peace of mind during their journey!
